The NSW Mine Workers Alliance has been formed for your benefit to improve the lives of members employed by some of the largest hard rock miners, across western NSW.
The history of Australian mining cannot be written without recognising the major impacts and achievements by the two largest mining Unions in Australia – The Mining and Energy Union (MEU) and the Australian Workers’ Union (AWU) who have joined forces to provide a united and stronger voice for you in the workplace.
Alliance Organisers are based in NSW mining communities like Cobar and Broken Hill. We support you and provide expert advice and workplace representation when you need it.
